On this rather gloomy day in Hawai'i I thought I'd share a photo from a recent sunrise I shot at Sandy Beach on the south east end of the island of O'ahu.  It was perfect that morning and the colors were so vibrant and beautiful.

Looking at this photo makes you think that the water is peaceful and calm when in fact Sandy Beach has one of the strongest currents of any beach on the island.  I am so lucky to live here.
